AUTHOR Elissa Al-Chokhachy, MA, RN, CHPN, FT is a graduate of New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, Boston College School of Nursing and Hood College Graduate School. The recipient of the Boston College Alumni Award for Excellence in Nursing and the Dr. William B. Stevens Award for "The Nurse Who Enjoys Her Work the Most", Elissa has worked as a hospice nurse, a private duty nurse and a health care counselor. A certified hospice and palliative care nurse and a fellow in thanatology, she passionately cares for the dying and the bereaved. | ILLUSTRATORUlrike Graf was born in Esslingen, Germany. As a student at The Art Center College of Design, she began her studies in La Tour de Peilz, Switzerland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design in Pasadena, California. Ulrike studied art independently during her years at The Waldorf School in Esslingen, Germany and The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. The Angel with the Golden Glow is her first book. She is employed as a product designer. Ulrike now resides in Germany.
